YESYESYESYESYES!! I had been feeling ecstatic ever since I know this tv series is coming up with its own movie!
Big fan of this show, obviously. Who wouldn't be? So you can imagine how excited I was to be able to be able to attend the Gala Premiere and get to see Julian Cheung on Red Carpet. Still seemed quite surreal that I got to see him for the 2nd time. And still mesmerised by him.
The first time I saw him was when I attended the Singapore Hit Awards. That room was filled with shrieks and screams. Haha. Maybe some gasps from yours truly.
Anyway, I brought my Mom this time and she wasn't exactly helpful in offering help to take any pictures of happenings at the red carpet so I totally missed out on the whole thing... Not because I was late but because I was busy looking for the booth for ticket collection. Ugh.
Managed to only take this 2 pictures in the theatre because apparently no cameras were allowed to be brought in and also, NO PICTURES. WHAT. T.T
I am very upset that I didn't get any pictures of Julian Cheung. Was crying inside, really.
But oh well, it wasn't hard to convince myself that it's ohkay since the movie really made up for it!

MOVIE SYNOPSIS
Young pilot Branson (Louis KOO)
recently takes over Skylette, his father’s aviation empire, only to realize his
old flames Cassie (Charmaine SHEH) is a flight attendant there. Several years
ago, he was forced to break up with her and move to New York to take care of
his father's business. To this day, the two continue to harbor feelings for
each other but decide to keep them bottled up.
In an effort to rebrand the airline,
Branson invites rock idol TM to star in an upcoming commercial and appoints Sam
(Fransic NG) as her flying consultant. Incongruent in both tastes and
experience, this odd couple gets off on the wrong foot. As the shoot
progresses, however, they slowly discover each other's merits, developing a
strong mutual attraction.
Jayden (Julien CHEUNG) has left
Skylette Airline to become a pilot for private jets. He meets the young and
vivacious Kika (KUO
Tsai Chieh) during a flight and assumes her to be wayward and shallow. But they
turn out to have a lot in common and start falling madly in love. At the height
of their romance, Jayden realizes almost too late the secret behind her
recalcitrance…
Each of the three relationships comes
with its own setbacks. As long as one can accept the imperfection of things,
finding happiness—however fleetingly—is a blessing in itself.
MY THOUGHTS
Firstly, I would like to put it out there for people who expect this film to be filled with serious plane and flight stuff, that it is not. It has bits of it included inside but mostly a romance film. Just giving you a heads up because my mom thought that way.
As it is probably clearly shown in the synopsis, it is about the life of 3 pilots. I enjoyed all 3 of their love lives but especially the one of Captain SAM though. Why? Because it is filled with so many comedic scenes and they were really good ones too!
I think it is quite an eye opener to see Louis Koo acting as a character like that. He does usually got funny roles to play in but this time was not the case.
Oh Captain Cool aka Jayden aka Julian Cheung... My sister had already watched the movie and the both of us agreed that he was definitely a brilliant womaniser. I told my sister if I ever saw what that woman saw, i'd melt. Curious what she saw? Haha
Not quite what I expected it to be but it is still an interesting concept and I still enjoyed the story, or should I say stories.
